Tagawa被认为是日本漫画创作的鼻祖。Norakuro的冒险系列讲述了一只叫做norakuro的小狗在一只狗军队里面的故事。这个系列作品创作的灵感来源来自于Tagawa在二十世纪二十年代在军中服役的经历。norakuro在战争快要结束时曾在日本风靡一时。

Suiho Tagawa's adventures of Norakuro, a little black & white dog enlisted in an all dog army, inspired by Tagawa's experiences in Japan's Imperial Army of the 1920s.
Tagawa was one of the fathers of Japanese manga, and Norakuro was hugely popular before ending shortly before the war. The character was later revived in the post war period, appearing in various civilian guises throughout the years.
